Birgit Finsterbusch supports companies in advertising law, particularly in the legal assessment of green claims. She represents companies against associations and competitors in competition law.
Birgit Finsterbusch studied at the University of Mainz. During her training, she worked for the law firm LeBoeuf, Lamb, Greene & MacRae in Boston, for the law firm Bloomfield & Bellemare in Montreal and for the German-Irish Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Dublin, among others.
Ms. Finsterbusch has been admitted to the bar since 2002. Before joining the law firm Löffel Abrar Rechtsanwälte, Ms. Finsterbusch worked for several years as an in-house lawyer/senior legal counsel in various companies after completing her second state examination, including several years at 1&1 Internet AG, a subsidiary of United Internet AG. Ms. Finsterbusch advised 1&1 and its subsidiaries in France and Great Britain on, among other things, contract and competition law.
